Kohlhagen
Today's parish and pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary Kohlhagen with the patronage of St. Mary's Visitation (July 2) was built on the site of the previous building between 1703 and 1707.
A Way of the Cross, which is now a listed building, was laid out in a ring around the church grounds in 1908.
Biggesee
In the heart of the Ebbegebirge Nature Park, at the south-western tip of the Sauerland, the Biggesee vacation and recreation area welcomes you with its unique lake and forest landscape.
In addition to water sports (sailing, surfing, rowing, canoeing, fishing and diving), Biggesee also currently has two passenger boats operating on the reservoir.
Fort Fun
There are around 40 attractions and two shows on 75 hectares. The park is largely designed in a Wild West style.
The family amusement park FORT FUN Abenteuerland near Bestwig in nearby Sauerland impresses with its extraordinary rides in an impressive mountain landscape and a very family-friendly price-performance ratio, also in terms of gastronomy.
Elspe Festival
Every year in the summer and winter season, the Elspe Festival presents show acts and entertainment at the very highest level. Experience the story of the greenhorn Charly up close. Join in the excitement of the battle for the legendary Appache gold treasure, the fight against the brutal Santer gang, which Old Shatterhand and Winnetou will bring to a just end. In addition to the festival events, other interesting events are offered outside of the season. You can take a look behind the scenes, marvel at western competitions or be attacked by Mexican bandits. A varied party time and pub scene ensures that there is never a dull moment at the weekend. Regional and national bands play live music in the adjoining Point Pub.
Atta Cave
The Atta cave or Attendorn stalactite cave in Attendorn is one of the largest and most beautiful stalactite caves in Germany.
Rhine-Weser Tower
The Rhine-Weser Tower is located in the Rothaargebirge in the municipality of Kirchhundem about 7.7 km (as the crow flies) east-southeast of the town center between the districts of Oberhundem in the northwest and Rüspe in the southeast.

Why not combine your leisure sport of fishing with a stimulating hike on the many designated hiking and adventure trails. Some of them lead directly past rivers and ponds that are open to anglers. We will be happy to give you tips on where you can practice your hobby undisturbed and where you can expect a good catch.
